Julianne Moore: Kept pregnancy secret while filming film
Julianne Moore suffered from severe nausea while filming the cult film “The Big Lebowski,” as she reports today. But she didn’t want to tell anyone the background to this on set.
According to her own words, Oscar winner Julianne Moore kept a secret from her colleagues while filming the cult film “The Big Lebowski”. “I was pregnant with my son,” said the 64-year-old on the “Drew Barrymore Show.” Recalling a scene from the film, Moore explained that she felt “so sick” that day.
The actress said her dress was “really tight” that day and she could hardly move. “I just felt incredibly sick. And I couldn’t tell anyone I was pregnant because I didn’t want them to know.”
In addition to her now 27-year-old son, Moore also has a daughter with her husband Bart Freundlich. For the comedy “The Big Lebowski” (1998) she appeared in front of the camera with lead actor Jeff Bridges, directed by Ethan and Joel Coen. Moore most recently starred opposite Tilda Swinton in the drama The Room Next Door.
