Oliver Pocher’s ex-wives Amira Aly and Alessandra Meyer-Wölden don’t speak well to each other – including mean nicknames.
Since the separation from Oliver Pocher (46), there have been hardened fronts between Amira Aly (32) and his first wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden (41). This doesn’t stop at Aly and Pocher’s son, as Meyer-Wölden and the comedian explain in the latest episode of the joint podcast “The Pochers! Freshly recycled” (exclusively on Podimo).
For Amira Aly, Sandy Meyer-Wölden is a “witch”
In the episode, the two talk about the past Christmas and come across a situation that was particularly amusing for them. “My personal highlight […] “was when you and Amira’s older son came in, looked at me in astonishment and said: ‘Aunt Sandy, mom said you’re a witch,'” recalls Meyer-Wölden. She then quickly explained to the four-year-old boy, that she is a “good witch” like Bibi Blocksberg, for example, to take away his fear of her.
Despite the obvious tip of her former friend, Alessandra Meyer-Wölden takes the situation calmly, as she emphasizes: “If the worst thing your mother tells your son is that Aunt Sandy is a witch – I can live with that.” However, she and Oliver Pocher would make an effort not to drag the children into their disputes.
No reconciliation at Christmas
Since the separation of Amira Aly and Oliver Pocher, not much has remained of the family’s patchwork dream. The two women are no longer on good terms with each other and Pocher also doesn’t get along with Aly’s new partner Christian Düren (34). That’s why there was no Christmas together. “As long as Christian sits on the other side, I won’t sit there. And as long as you sit there, Amira isn’t that keen on it,” sums up the comedian.
Children now go to a golf boarding school
But of course the Pochers also had a lot to talk about. One of the biggest news is probably the new school situation for their children. Only last year they moved back to Germany from the USA with their mother, and now they are going to a golf boarding school.
Since their return, the kids have been attending an English school in Cologne because their first language is English. There they were moved up a class because there were no more places available in their actual year group. However, it is now becoming apparent that they are not keeping up with the material. That’s why they should now go to a boarding school for six months to finish the class and then return to Cologne, listeners of “Die Pochers! Freshly recycled” find out.
“We will be on site regularly to look after this. But I think it’s good that they now understand some of the rules of independence,” said Pocher. The sporting component is also important to them; the children are good golfers. Meyer-Wölden, who also went to a sports boarding school, now sees the boarding school visit as “a great opportunity” for her offspring after initial doubts.
The ex-couple did not reveal in the podcast where exactly the children are moving and whether their 14-year-old daughter will also be going to boarding school alongside their 13-year-old twin sons. However, only the boys go to a boarding school in Marbella, Spain.
In addition to her three children with Oliver Pocher, Meyer-Wölden has other twin boys with an ex-partner, who are now seven years old. Pocher, in turn, also had two sons with Amira Aly in 2019 and 2020.
