“This is Us” star Milo Ventimiglia: The actor lost his house

Ventimiglia and his pregnant wife Jarah Mariano, 41, evacuated their home on Tuesday (January 7) after the fires began. They were able to watch via security cameras as the wildfire flames destroyed their home in the Malibu area, which, along with Pacific Palisades, has been hardest hit. The couple packed everything they could think of, but left behind essential things like the cot.

Ventimiglia has been committed to fire protection since filming the series and now wants to focus more on forest fires. He’s already thinking about how he can help his community and others.
