Princess Kate’s younger brother, James Middleton, started the year 2025 with his family and a little adventure.

James Middleton (37) went on an adventure at the beginning of the year with his wife Alizée Thevenet, their son Inigo and the dogs. a trip to the mountains.

“I can’t believe how fast Inigo is growing up”

In one of the photos, one-year-old Inigo can be seen on small skis next to the family dogs, in another photo he is being fed by mom Alizée and another photo shows the whole group in the snow. “We started the new year with an adventure in the mountains. We were lucky to be surrounded by blue skies and cold, fresh air,” enthuses James Middleton, younger brother of Princess Kate, who just celebrated her 43rd birthday has.

James and Alizée married in 2021 and their son was born in October 2023. “I can’t believe how quickly Inigo is growing up – that’s actually what scares me the most,” Middleton now writes. “I’m afraid if I blink I’ll miss it… but like dogs, we include him in all our adventures, making memories and taking each day as it comes…”

James Middleton and the “January Blues”

In the post, Middleton also addresses a serious topic, “a different kind of January blues.” This hit him hard in the past – and it still does to a certain extent today. The aftermath of the Christmas season and long dark nights combined with overly ambitious New Year’s resolutions left me “feeling like I was barely surviving.” The year has only just begun.

For the past few years, however, Middleton has been living by a new mantra inspired by his dogs. He doesn’t want to spend every moment thinking about past or future moments: “The past is imperfect, the future will be too – take every day as a new day, you can look forward to the future… the past It won’t bother you!”

Middleton has spoken about depression several times in recent years. In one he wrote in 2019 that his dogs, especially the dog Ella, helped him through his darkest times. She even accompanied him to therapy sessions. At the beginning of 2023, Ella unfortunately passed away after 15 years at his side.
