Cathy Hummels: Congratulations for her “favorite person”

The past twelve months have not always been easy for Cathy Hummels (36). Her ex-husband Mats Hummels (36), the father of her son Ludwig (7), appeared on the red carpet for the first time in October with his partner Nicola Cavanis (26). At the beginning of the new year, Hummels has something to celebrate: her child with her ex-husband is turning seven. The influencer congratulates on Instagram.

“Happy birthday, my favorite person,” Hummels wrote on Jan. 11 in a series of photos and videos on the social network. And further: “Today you’re turning seven and I can’t believe you’re so big already.” In a video that can be seen in the post, Ludwig blows out all of his birthday candles in one fell swoop – which visibly impresses his mother.

“I will always take care of you,” writes Hummels in her post. Her son’s face cannot be seen in the pictures. S0 protects the child’s privacy.

From 2015 to 2022, ex-national player Mats Hummels was married to Cathy Hummels. The couple got together when she was 19 and he was 18. “That’s why I had to chew on it for so long after the breakup. I realized that no matter where I was, all my memories were always with him,” she revealed last October in conversation with Pierre M. Krause (48).

“I’m very happy with my life, I also lead a privileged life, but I’m 35 now, I’m divorced, I’m more or less a single parent,” Hummels explained her current life situation. “It’s not like that was my dream at 25.”
