The Cordoban Luis Judge announced this Sunday that will abandon the presidency of the PRO bloc in the Senate. He argued his decision in the division that was generated in the space during the vote to remove Edgardo Kueider in the upper house. “I felt disempowered”he expressed, in reference to Mauricio Macri. Furthermore, he announced that he will seek to be the candidate for governor of Cordova of Javier Milei.
The senator, true to his direct style, raised his public differences with the head of the party and former president of the Nation, in particular as a result of the position that he pushed within the bloc so that the expulsion of now former legislator and, instead, proceed with a suspension. That position opened a crack that caused three members of the PRO voted in favor of the removal of immunity and four others – guided by Macri- They will position themselves against it.
As a result, the judge said he felt underrated and unauthorized, despite the fact that he had been elected as the president of the bloc. “That vote gave me a lot of headache. It bothers me that they underestimate me. “I didn’t want to be president of the bank, in fact I’m not going to be in the immediate future,” he declared in a recent interview.

His discomfort with the head of the PRO goes beyond the vote on Kueider. This is how he explained it: “I have made decisions thinking about the whole, I am not a type who speculates.
