Beyoncé made a mysterious announcement in December alongside her appearance at the NFL game in Houston that she planned to announce something on January 14th. But fans will have to be patient longer.
Fans of superstar Beyoncé have to continue to wait for news of their idol due to the devastating fires in Los Angeles. The expected announcement on January 14th will be postponed to a later date due to the devastation caused by the ongoing wildfires in and around Los Angeles, said a statement on the 43-year-old’s Instagram profile.
First notice in December
Beyoncé shared a mysterious announcement on Instagram in December alongside her appearance at an NFL game in Houston. The 43-year-old posted a video that ends with the date January 14, 2025. There had been speculation that the American would then release a new album.
Beyoncé has said in the past that she wrote a series of songs during the pandemic that she wanted to release as a trilogy. The first two parts have already been released with the albums “Renaissance” and “Cowboy Carter”, the latter in March 2024. It would therefore not be surprising if the third part followed. In the announcement on Instagram she is sitting on a horse – like on the covers of her two previous albums.
Large donation for those affected
Like other stars, Beyoncé wants to help those affected by the major fires. With her foundation “Beygood” she wants to donate 2.5 million dollars (around 2.4 million euros) to those affected by the fires in the Los Angeles area. “Los Angeles, we stand with you,” the foundation said in a post on Instagram.
