In statements to the La Baulera del Coso program on Radio Tu, the Argentine director spoke of some possible reasons, the main one being that it did not attract a large enough audience.
Muschietti said: “When a film like this comes out, there is the expectation of attracting all four quadrants of the audience”.
“When you make a movie there are things you can’t control, and one of them is when actors have a public relations crisis”.
The Flash faced criticism from fans for its CGIwhich Muschietti said was “intentional” because it was “in The Flash’s perspective.” His multiple cameos also left some in Hollywood unimpressed, including Tim Burton and Nicolas Cageas well as the family of the Superman actor Christopher Reeve.
