During the summer vacations, many Argentines decide to take a trip abroad and bring products from there. However, the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) It specified which objects can be brought from outside without paying taxes and which are completely prohibited.

These restrictions correspond to the Baggage Regime imposed by the former AFIP. It is worth clarifying that products that are part of the luggage and that require health control may only be released if they have authorization from the competent body.

ARCA: products that cannot be entered into Argentina
According to the section of Help for Travelers On the official ARCA website, these are the products prohibited from entering the country:
- Archaeological and cultural material
- Merchandise for commercial or industrial purposes
- Narcotics
- Weapons, explosives (unless authorized by ANMAC)
Other objects that cannot be imported are those that do not constitute baggageflammable, imported goods prohibited for reasons of public safety, national defense, public health, animal and plant health; and goods subject to other prohibitions or restrictions of a non-economic nature.
The products that ARCA allows to enter without paying taxes
As stipulated on the official website of the former AFIP, these are the objects allowed to be transported in Argentina:
- Income: a phone and a notebook or tablet.
- Entry and exit: Clothing and objects for non-commercial purposes, for personal use, and other objects declared when leaving.
- Egress: Argentine goods up to USD 2000.
