The game between Norway and Portugal took place in Oslo on Sunday evening (January 19th). Shortly before the start, Crown Prince Haakon (51), Crown Princess Mette-Marit (51) and Sverre Magnus arrived to cheer on the Norwegian national team.

According to the report, the royals were greeted with great cheers in the arena when they were officially welcomed shortly before the national anthems. Crown prince couple confronted with scandal

Mette-Marit and Haakon have been married since 2001. Their daughter Ingrid Alexandra from Norway (20) was born at the beginning of 2004, their son Sverre Magnus from Norway at the end of 2005. Marius Borg Høiby (28), her son from a previous relationship, brought the then Mette-Marit Tjessem Høiby with him the marriage. The latter caused a major scandal in recent months. The police are investigating the 28-year-old. The accusation: abusive behavior towards some women.

There have also been health concerns in the palace recently. Haakon’s mother, the Norwegian Queen Sonja (87), is currently recovering at home from an operation: the wife of King Harald (87) had a pacemaker implanted. She was able to leave the hospital shortly after the procedure last week, the palace announced on its website on Friday. A short statement there said that the Queen was “in good shape”.
