Mirtha Legrand surprised this Tuesday by making a visit to the Memory Lighthouseone of the former detention centers that operated in Mar del Plata during the time of the dictatorship. Likewise, the place is currently being emptied, within the framework of the policies adopted by President Javier Milei.

Through an Instagram publication, the space revealed some details of the host’s visit: “Today Mirta Legrand visited us unexpectedly. We had a brief and very cordial talk with her where we were able to tell her the history of the property, about the Memory Space and the Punta Mogotes Lighthouse.”

Visit in a difficult context for the lighthouse

In that sense, the journalist specializing in Human Rights, Luciana Bertoia, wrote: “Mirtha Legrand went to visit the Mar del Plata lighthouse, one of the sites of memory that are being dismantled by the government of Javier Milei”.
