Monotributistas who use electronic billing points of sale and who have at least 12 months of activity within the regime must recategorize in the ARCA.
Likewise, members must update their category based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This will be calculated taking into account the last 12 months of billing of each monotributista.

Monotributo 2025: step by step to recategorize in the ARCA from your cell phone
Recategorization can be done in different ways, among which the cell phone stands out. When downloading the ARCA Móvil app, monotributistas must follow this series of steps:
- Enter the Monotributo Portal with your CUIT and tax code.
- Select the “Recategorization” option and click on “RECATEGORIZE ME”.
- Check the current category and consult the “CURRENT SCALES” to find out the limits.
- The system will show the annual billing and ask if you have a location for your activity.
- Review the suggested category. If everything is correct, press “CONFIRM CATEGORY”.
