Lynn Ban fell on the slopes on Christmas Eve

“She always had a smile on her face, even when times were tough during her recovery process,” her son Sebastian wrote on Instagram. “She was a fighter until the end and is the strongest woman I know.”

Ban, who designed jewelry for stars like Rihanna (36), Beyoncé (43), Billie Eilish (23), Madonna (66) and Lady Gaga (38), also announced on Instagram last month that she was skiing on Christmas Eve to have fallen.

Emergency surgery after cerebral hemorrhage

“In the blink of an eye, life can change. On Christmas Eve, on a beautiful sunny day in Aspen while vacationing with my family, I had a skiing accident that would change my life,” Ban wrote.

“On the top of the mountain” she “hit her face” and was then able to ski down into the valley on her own skis. A subsequent examination revealed a cerebral hemorrhage. Ban was transferred by plane to another hospital. “The last thing I remember is being intubated and waking up from an emergency craniotomy,” she wrote on December 30, alongside shocking images of her shaved head with a huge surgical scar.

Meanwhile, pop star Rihanna has responded to the news of her death with a comment. She wrote on Instagram: “This is too much! Lynn, you will always be our fairy godmother! I love you forever and ever!”
