Tina Turner song surfaced: “Hot For You Baby”
The voice is unmistakable. In a long-lost song, Tina Turner sings that she is hot for someone. The publication also appears to be a marketing strategy.
Even after her death, rock legend Tina Turner continues to delight her fans. A song by the “Queen of Rock’n’Roll,” who died in 2023, that was thought lost has been available since Thursday. “Hot For You Baby” was actually supposed to be part of the 1984 hit album “Private Dancer” – but ultimately didn’t make it into the song selection. The song is now part of the new 40th anniversary release, which is available for pre-order.
“Turner’s singing is reliably fantastic,” said the British newspaper “Guardian” in an initial review. The song, which has not been released for decades, is “not a lost classic by any stretch of the imagination.”
Turner died in Switzerland in May 2023 at the age of 83. The rock icon thrilled an audience of millions with her powerful voice, daring costumes, wild dance routines and exuberant energy.
She is considered one of the most successful musicians ever and is said to have sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
