Because he has been suffering from extreme hair loss for years, singer Pietro Lombardi would like to have professional treatment.
Pietro Lombardi (32) does not go in front of the camera without a cap. The former “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” juror revealed himself to his two million followers in a story and talked about the reason for his constant companion: his thin hair.
The baseball cap has become his trademark since the singer was catapulted into the spotlight by winning “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” in 2011. But the Rhinelander doesn’t just wear them for fashion reasons: “I wear Cappy because I love them and everything. But I already have extreme hair loss, especially at the top, and it looks a bit like I’m bald. And yes, that’s it “Somehow not so nice,” admits Lombardi. “I still wear the cap when I’m at home on the couch. I only take the cap off when I’m sleeping and it has to be really dark.”
The muscular musician lacks self-confidence to go out the door despite thinning hair. “I sometimes feel like going out without a cap. But I somehow lack self-confidence the way my hair is straight,” admits the 32-year-old.
He’s a different person without Cappy
If he doesn’t wear a hat, he’s not the person his fans know: “It’s really crazy because my self-confidence goes to zero from now on. If I don’t have the hat on, I couldn’t be the Lombardi I was on the “I’m on the stage!”
In order not to be tied to the peaked cap for the rest of his life, he is planning an operation. After his upcoming tour, which starts on February 10th in Hamburg and ends on August 23rd in Bad Elster, Saxony, the singer would like to get his hair done. “I mean, it’s nothing to be ashamed of,” adds the father of three.
He does not say on his social media platform what type of his planned procedure is. During a hair transplant, hair roots are surgically transplanted to fill in bald spots with your own or artificial hair.
