The Bavarian Film Award has been awarded again in the Prinzregententheater. A little shine, a little glamor – and a woman who finds warning words.
Actress Jella Haase (“Fack Ju Göhte”) used her acceptance speech at the Bavarian Film Award for a political message against the right pressure in society. “I hope that Germany wakes up,” she said at the award ceremony in the Munich Prinzregententheater. In the pressure of the right in German politics, my heart overturns me, my heart overturns.
“I defend myself out of the depth of my heart,” said Haase, spoke out “against normalizing and playing down the right -wing attitude” and against the “brutalization in cooperation”.
The 32-year-old, who was awarded the best actress for her role as “Chantal in the Märzenland”, said that she would like “to stop politicians”, and received long applause and some standing ovation for her thank you speech.
