The organization for relief had checked a supervisory authority. Campbell and two other previous board members were accused of incorrect behavior and mismanagement of donations. At the expense of the organization for 9,400 euros, the model is said to have spent three nights in a luxury hotel in Cannes as well as spa applications and room service for more than 7,900 euros.
In addition, for example, no logs on meetings and decisions were made, as required for non -profit organizations. The organization, which has now been dissolved, is said to have passed on a small part of its proceeds for charitable purposes, as the authority stated.
Campbell calls an exposure shocking
According to the PA news agency, representatives of Campbell now claim that documents submitted would give a wrong impression of Campbell’s participation. A false email account was used to spend the exchange with lawyers as Campbell. The model therefore knew nothing about the allegations and had no opportunity to respond.
“What has come to light so far is shocking,” it said in Campbell’s explanation, from which BBC, “Times” and “Guardian” also cited. She wanted to ensure that those responsible were held accountable.
