King Charles welcomed his counterpart Abdullah II in London. For this it goes on to Donald Trump.
The Jordanian king Abdullah II (63) has made a stopover in Great Britain before visiting the United States next week. In London he met King Charles III. (76) in the Buckingham Palace. At pictures of the meeting, the two monarchs can be seen how they hug and warmly greet each other. According to media reports, Charles and Abdullah II then spoke about historical relationships between the two countries.
It is the second meeting of the two monarchs within three months after King Abdullah had visited Charles at Windsor Castle in November. On this occasion, Charles is said to have congratulated the Jordanian king on his 25th anniversary of the climbing throne.
Abdullah II will be expected in Boston and then in Washington DC next week, where he should meet US President Donald Trump (78). On February 11th, the visit to the White House is reported. The talks will probably turn to Trump’s plans to take over the Gaza Strip and forced all Palestinians.
Rania of Jordan was also in the USA
Recently, Queen Rania of Jordan (54) had visited Donald Trump’s wife Melania Trump (54) in Palm Beach. According to media reports, the meeting in Florida was concerned with topics that are very important to the two women: the well -being of children and the importance of better access to good education.
For Rania of Jordan and Melania Trump, it was not the first official meeting. The queen visited the White House with her husband King Abdullah in 2018 – during the first term of Donald Trump. After her meeting, Melania Trump explained on social media at the time: “A great visit to the king and the queen of Jordan. The president and I were happy to welcome her again in the White House.”
