In the interview, reality star Maurice Dziwak explains why he will continue to be the “lion” without a jungle crown.

The reality star and self-proclaimed “lion” Maurice Dziwak (26) also has to drive home without a jungle crown. In the RTL show “I’m a star – get me out of here!” () he was selected on day 15, shortly before the semi -finals. However, he does not see his expulsion as a defeat – and with his new nickname “Löwen -Baby” he can live well. In an interview with Spot on News, he is a fair loser and reveals what he will later report on his new son about his time in the jungle.

How big is your disappointment with the outslaw?

Maurice Dziwak: I have to say, of course, I was very, very sad at first. I think you saw that I lived and felt the jungle. And then of course it’s a shame to fly out just before the final. But you are still grateful for every single day you were allowed to enjoy. Because that was my dream and it was right, really nice. The exams that I was allowed to do, the great conversations, but also the move -in and such. That was so many beautiful things. I want to think about that.

Does it feel like a defeat to Timur ülker? With that there were many friction …

Dziwak: No, that doesn’t feel like a defeat. We are all winners in my eyes because we have not all given up. On the contrary, we all fought for what is important to us and so I see nothing but defeat here, but I am rather very positive and I am also happy for everyone who has now progressed. And each of them has the stuff to the king, the queen. Therefore: I am excited to see who it does.

The atmosphere in the camp is at zero. Why is that?

DZIWAK: We are now in the camp for so long, we are about to the final. The forces, including the mental, simply make a bit limp. You have little food and little sleep. You will be faced more and more with your fears every day. Exams are constant pressure, a constant companion. It’s not that easy. And at some point the body also says: “No, I can no longer, I need a little rest.” So you can understand that, I think.

Do you feel that Edith is manipulative? Especially when it comes to Timur?

Dziwak: Everyone sees what happens on the television. And everyone should form their opinion about it. I spent a lot of time with Edith and I can say we also had great conversations. I can hardly judge what Edith is talking to others. But I can only say so much that we were overall still a cool troop, that we had a great time, that it all connects us all in general. I was always the guy who said we should stick together instead of acting against each other. And rather enjoy life.

How much fun did you have in the camp, on a scale from 1 to ten?

Dziwak: I would say that the first few days were rather mediocre, emotional chaos because of my family at home, also the change. My fears were extremely hard, but from day two or so the mood was nine to ten every day. Sure, the exam where I had zero stars, pulled me down a bit. And also when I was on the maybe list. It wasn’t nice, but I was so incredibly grateful to be able to do this project. And I think everyone who can really experience this will also remember and be grateful for a lifetime. The only word I connect to the jungle is gratitude.

Going to the jungle camp was her big dream …

Dziwak: The jungle has always been a dream and it will always remain my dream. If you always looked with your mom as a little boy and are now a participant yourself, then you can’t really believe it. I imagined it hard, but actually not as hard as it really is. But you get used to it, people are habit. That’s why you quickly adapted to the situation and then everything went much, much easier. I could have stayed for a few more days because you just got used to it.

Will you remain the “lion” after your return? The name occasionally caused ridicule.

Dziwak: The lion definitely comes to Germany. The lion remains a lion. And sometimes the lion does not have it easy in the world. But I didn’t even know that you made yourself so funny over it … but it wasn’t bad either. The message I represent is to laugh at yourself. Then I’m a lion baby. Then that’s the case. Everything relaxes. The main thing is lion.

You are a new father – will you later show your son the jungle shots?

DZIWAK: I will definitely look at the recordings with my son at some point and I’m extremely looking forward to this moment. Of course it will take a while, but the day will come.

Will you be a little embarrassed? The shower test with Lilly Becker, for example?

Dziwak: No. When I watch the exam and my son watches me, then I will say: “Look, the dad has been extremely scared, but the dad tried it anyway.” And that’s the message behind it that I want to convey. That despite your fear you just want to do things, try it and show it as a winner. Winning does not always mean getting all the stars. Winning means going to your limits, growing beyond yourself and being proud of yourself.
