Bon Iver publishes new music on Valentine’s Day
Since 2019, fans had had to wait for a new album from Bon Iver. The folk singer’s fifth studio album will be released in April. This Friday there is the first single.
Fans of Justin Vernon alias Bon Iver can look forward to new music from the US songwriter. The 43-year-old folk singer said on Instagram’s fifth album “Sable, Fable, Fable”. The first single “Everything is Peaceful Love” of the album is said to be heard this Friday – on Valentine’s Day – it said on the account. Bon Iver had previously released an EP with four songs in October after a long break, which are also part of the album.
Vernon, who has already worked with US superstar Taylor Swift several times, became known with electronically alienated folk songs. In 2008 he made his debut with “For Emma, Forever Ago”. His second record “Bon Iver” received a Grammy as the best alternative album in 2012. “22, a million” (2016) came second in the USA and Great Britain. The predecessor album for “Sable, Fable” was released in 2019.
