Television: With Klums “GNTM”, Model is modeled as ever

This has never been done: fans of the ProSieben show “Germany’s Next Top Model” (GNTM) have to keep two television evenings a week for weeks. “Many great people applied for my 20 season,” said the broadcaster recently modeled-scout Heidi Klum. “Since all these great personalities do not fit into a single Thursday evening”, there is now one evening “only boys” for six weeks, namely from next week on Wednesdays. On February 13th (8:15 p.m., ProSieben and Joyn), the new round for the Catwalk offspring will start again.

Only in episode 13 on March 27th do all models meet for the first time. From then on, “GNTM” runs as usual only on Thursdays. After more than 300 episodes and more than 3,000 candidates, the casting format is looking for new personalities again in season 20.

This also includes the guests of the show. Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni Klum kicks off. After that, two supermodel Naomi Campbell will be at the side of the moderator. The catwalk sizes Adriana Lima and Anok Yai, actor Sebastian Ströbel (“The mountain rescuers”), the entertainment twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz, World Star Catherine Catherine Catherine Catherine Rankin and 60s legend Twiggy have also been announced.

The now 51 -year -old Heidi Klum recently took a look back at the beginnings of “GNTM” in 2006. For them, it was often very challenging to be the mother of four children while filming the casting show. Especially at the beginning, when she was “either a young mother or pregnant or both”, it was not always easy, the model told the magazine “Stern”.

“My days always started because I breastfed at night. And also during the shooting breaks. I was ko and in the evening I was no longer sure what I had actually told all day,” said Klum, the four children from two Relationships have: Leni (20) as well as the two sons Henry (19) and Johan (18) and daughter Lou Sulola (15). Because she was also working as a mother, she had feelings of guilt and “often felt torn”.

The filming of the new season was not always under a good star. The fire disaster around Los Angeles had an impact on the filming that was postponed for a few days.

In the end, however, nothing changes for the spectators. A large part of every “Germany’s Next Top Model” relay is traditionally recorded in California.
