“Let’s Dance” voice Patrick Linke ventures into the spotlight after 25 years. In the interview, he tells of the shoot for “Everything that matters”.
He is the voice to know the millions of RTL viewers from shows like “Let’s Dance” -but so far Patrick Linke (54) has been able to go through life undetected. That could change now, because the man behind the striking voice takes the step in front of the camera. From February 17th he can be seen in the RTL series “Everything that matters” as a bartender Felix as part of the event week.
“I had the desire to dare again,” reveals Linke in an interview with the news agency Spot on News. The fact that he was previously only known as a voice had its advantages: “Sometimes it is not that bad if you can go to the supermarket without being hugged or asked to selfies,” he says with a laugh.
“Let’s Dance” star reported to “AWZ” production
The initiative for his change of roles went from himself. “I just called the UFA and said that I would like to be in front of the camera again,” he says. A brave step that had paid off for the media professional, which after his time was “moderated by radio on a regional television station”.
After a regular casting, Linke received the role of bartender Felix, a friend of serial figure Ingo Zadek (André Dietz, 49). With a wink, the new actor reveals a piquant detail about his role: “I am the bartender, but I didn’t mix a single cocktail.” Instead, there was plenty of wine – “you will see that too,” he smiles.
Filming in Mallorca
The film was turned on Mallorca – an island to which the left has a special connection. “I live in Mallorca at times. We bought something in the port of Sóller years ago,” he reveals. This connection was known to the production and benefited him during the filming.
The filming seems to have enjoyed fun. “In any case, it was a lot of fun and luckily everyone was also enthusiastic about my spectacle,” he reports proudly. He adds promising: “There can be more and there will probably be more.” However, he could not yet reveal more specific details.
“Everything that matters” event week
The “Everything counts” event week with Patrick Left acting debut runs from February 17th to 21st Monday to Friday from 7:05 p.m. at RTL (available at RTL+ already seven days in advance). It remains to be seen whether he can continue to go shopping undetected.
The event week is about the reopening of the magnificent plant, the concept store of Isabelle, which becomes a trendy club in the evening. In addition to the left, the former “Prince Charming” Kim Tränka (33) will mix up the store as Sven, Tina Governor (Tanja Tischewitsch, 35) will also return on February 20.
