On February 17, the third “Celebrities under Palmen” relay. In the interview, Iris Klein reveals her strategy for the reality show in advance.
Iris Klein (57) can be seen on TV again. Reality TV awareness is part of the cast of the third season “Celebrities under palm trees”. On February 17th (every Monday at 8:15 p.m. in Sat.1), the format restarts again after a four -year break. How much she is happy to be part of the show and how important she is supporting her family, Klein tells in an interview with the news agency Spot on News.
“I only had a strategy, namely to hold out”
“It was an honor for me to be able to be part of ‘celebrities under palms'”, Klein clarifies at the beginning of the interview. In the format, the participants can win prize money of 50,000 euros. On the way to victory, Klein “only had one strategy, namely to hold out and win the games”. In addition to the 57-year-olds, Melody Haase (31), Cosimo Citiolo (43) and Claudia Obert (63) will also fight for the podium. Despite the competitive pressure, Klein reveals: “I actually got along well with all residents.” It remains to be seen whether this also applies to her rival Yvonne Woelke (45), which is two in episode two.
Reality TV announcement also gives a small outlook on the third “celebrities under Palmen” relay. “I will always show myself very emotionally and, above all, always real, since I will never adjust myself. Maybe some things will be embarrassing for one or the other and I’m already apologizing for that,” teased small. Nevertheless, she wishes “that the viewer understands me something”. Klein can rely on the support of her loved ones either way: “My family and closest friends are always firmly behind me without exception. That gives me strength.”
Third “Celebrities under Palmen” relay: These stars are there
Iris Klein is one of the twelve candidates who are part of the cast this year. Next to her, Haase and Citiolo, Menowin Fröhlich (37), Janina Youssefian (42), Eike Immel (64) and Chris Manazidis (38) are also drawn to Thailand. Lisha Savage (38), Kim Virginia Hartung (29) and Nikola Glumac (29) join them. For Obert it is already the second time with “Celebrities under palm trees”. She left the first season after her fellow candidates.
In 2021 the format was discontinued during the second season. Candidate Willi Herren (1975-2021) died surprisingly one day after the second episode was broadcast. For reasons of pietary reasons, the broadcaster then stopped the broadcast of the remaining, already turned episodes. Shortly afterwards, the broadcaster confirmed the early show. “Celebrities under palm trees” no longer fit Sat.1, it said at the time.
