Selena Gomez at the BAFTA ceremony 2025: In a dress by Schiaparelli, she brought the glamor of the old Hollywood to London.
Selena Gomez (32) continues to focus on a mixture of old Hollywood glamor and feminine elegance. At this year’s BAFTA ceremony in London, the actress appeared in a spectacular evening dress with a deep neckline on the red carpet.
Sparkling appearance at the BAFTA award in London
The tailor-made, sparkling pearls, including shoulder-free bodice from black velvet, comes from the skin-couture collection of the French fashion house Schiaparelli. The applications consisting of silver sequins, crystals, rhinestones and tassels made the outfit a real eye-catcher on the red carpet of the British film awards.
Gomez ‘BAFTA look was rounded off by black high-heels and sparkling jewelry from Tiffany & Co., including glamorous earrings, two bracelets and a diamond ring. The 32-year-old wore her dark hair strictly combed back to a simple updo with a deep middle parting. Mascara as well as a delicate lipstick and rosy cheeks emphasized the face of the actress, who had received her first BAFTA nomination for her role in the film “Emilia Pérez”.
Shortly embarrassing moment on the BAFTA stage
At the award ceremony, Gomez, together with her “Emilia Pérez” co-actress Zoë Saldaña (46), was able to hand over an award. When the envelope was opened, there was a short embarrassing moment when Gomez did not immediately understand who has now won out of the nominated debut in the category: “I don’t know what is standing,” she murmured into the microphone slightly. After a short break that was obviously very embarrassing, she finally announced: “Sorry, Kneecap by Rich Peppiatt!”
