Yerer Ha: “Bridgerton” star praises her predecessors

Yerer Ha (27) takes over the new leading role of Sophie Baek in the fourth season of the successful Netflix series “Bridgerton”. Together with the Benedict actor Luke Thompson (36), she forms the focus on lovers. In an interview with the US magazine “People”, the Australian actress gave a few insights into the shooting and had a big praise for her predecessors.

Ha emphasized that the former leading actors Simone Ashley (29) and Nicola Coughlan (38) were “nice” and “supportive” on the set. “You are so cute,” she enthused in the interview on the edge of a fan event in London. They had told her that she could report at any time if she needed advice. They also told her: “But don’t be afraid. The fans are great.” The actress also emphasized that she wanted to go her own way. “I just wanted to experience this trip myself and somehow find it out.”

Luke Thompson told People that he and Yerer Ha had already built a “bond”. “We work together so well,” confirmed the actress. “Luke is just so open and I would like to believe that I am quite open to him. And we just try to concentrate on the story and really accept ourselves as we are, both character and as humans.”

The fourth season of the series, each of which focuses on the love story of a Bridgerton family’s offspring, will probably only run at Netflix in 2026. The shooting should still take until April 2025. At the “Bridgerton Season of Love Fan Celebration” event, February 14th, to the delight of the fans, it was announced that Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey (36) also see in their roles as Kathani “Kate” Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton in the new episodes are – including baby. The second season turned around the couple’s love story. The couple from the third season – Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton, 32) – should continue to be there.
