His luxury jet cannot withdraw
Stranded in Manchester: Cristiano Ronaldo’s private jet cannot stand out in a window because of a crack.
Only last year, football star Cristiano Ronaldo (40) is said to have bought a luxurious private jet for almost 75 million euros. But now there are apparently problems: According to the British media reports, the aircraft has been at the airport in Manchester since Friday. A technical defect prevents departure.
Waiting for spare part
As reported among others, Cristiano Ronaldo’s bombal Global Express 6500 jet, decorated with his CR7 logo and the silhouette of his iconic goal, in Valentine’s Day in Manchester. But on February 19, the machine was still at the airport, as current pictures show. Engineers apparently discovered a crack in one of the windows and are now waiting for a spare part. The jet must not start until repair.
On February 14, the airport announced the arrival of the luxury pilot in a contribution on X (formerly Twitter), accompanied by a heart eyes emoji. It is not known whether Cristiano Ronaldo was on board. However, this seems unlikely, since he was still on the field for his Saudi Arabic Association Al-Nassr FC on Thursday.
The fact that his plane ended up in Manchester had immediately triggered speculation at Manchester United’s fans whether Ronaldo might return for a third term. The Portuguese already played twice for Manchester United: from 2003 to 2009 and 2021 to 2022.
