A new Miss Germany was chosen at the final in Rust. Valentina Busik secured the victory, a doctor.

This year’s Miss Germany is called Valentina Busik (27). The doctor secured the title on Saturday evening at the final in the Europa-Park in Rust in Baden-Württemberg. Afterwards emotional: “I’m so speechless! Thanks for your trust, the feeling is overwhelming.”

Valentina Busik: “As a late repatriat from Kazakhstan, my parents fought kidney operation for me 22 years ago, without knowledge of German and almost lost me.” Today she is “in the white smock, but only has 15 minutes per patient to let the diagnosis of cancer”. However, many people could not process this life -changing information – be it due to the medical technical language, emotional overwhelming or language barriers, Busik continues.

Therefore, she has a AI avatar on a tablet that gives patients the time they needed. “In addition to the doctor’s discussion, he explains in detail the diagnosis, treatment and operations, if necessary several times, half speed and in all languages.” Their goal is to “combine technology and empathy and thus make patient education more human in our health system. Everyone deserves answers and security, especially in the most difficult moments in life”.

Event is moving around

Valentina Busik follows the architect Apameh Schönauer, who won last year and is committed to women’s rights.

After the event on Saturday evening, the “Miss Germany” competition has a change. In preparation for the 100th anniversary in 2027, they wanted to switch to another, apparently larger city, citing the organizers.
