Meeting with new England coach Tuchel
Prince William met with Thomas Tuchel. The Royal and the new England coach talked about the future of the national team.
Prince William (42) received a high visit to Windsor Castle on Tuesday: The new coach of the English national football team, Thomas Tuchel (51), has a visit to the Royal.
William shared on his official Instagram account, which shows the two when shaking hands. “It was great to meet me today with the new team manager of the English men, Thomas Tuchel and to listen to my plans for the team,” it said.
Tuchel has been in office since January
according to Royal insiders, the meeting is said to have taken over an hour. Tuchel has been head coach of the English national team since January 2025 after stations at Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, FC Chelsea and FC Bayern Munich. He steps into the footsteps of Gareth Southgate (54).
Prince William was President of the English Football Association from 2005 to 2024 and is now responsible for patron in a smaller role. The British heir to the throne is known to be a big football fan and long -time supporter of the Aston Villa association.
