The era of reality television began 25 years ago. Jürgen Milski unexpectedly became a star – and it is still. He had already thrown everything down after an experience.
He initially scolded the “worst time” of his life – today it was the best for him. Jürgen Milski is the only resident of the “Big Brother” house, who can still be seen regularly on reality television 25 years after the then hotly discussed TV experiment.
For the anniversary, he revealed that after moving out of the container, he had already thrown everything down. “The captivity for me, it actually only came with this level of awareness afterwards,” said Milski in the interview of the German Press Agency.
“How long does it take for people to forget me again?”
The Cologne native did not expect the hype after the show, where he had taken second place. He was only able to stay at home. Increasing was a visit to the swimming pool with his daughter in Cologne, as he told in the “television salon” series in the German Kinemathek in Berlin. Because of the many fans, outdoor pool employees had shielded the lying area of the father-daughter duo-with red and white shut-off strap.
“Actually, only the sign was missing” feeding prohibited “,” recalled Milski. “It was my little, happy, satisfied life on the ass. That was the worst time of my life.”
After that, he rejected all the contract offers for TV shows, CD recordings and advertising deals and asked the team around “Big Brother” producer Rainer Laux: “How long does it take until the people forget me again?”
Milski initially returned to his job
Only months later – Milski had started working at Ford again in the meantime to astonishing his colleagues – he decided differently. Because he began to get used to the situation. And because it was always his goal to be able to buy a house to his family, as he says today. For this he wanted to take a year on Ford – and then come back. It turned out differently.
Milski has been in the business as a reality star for 25 years (among other things “fight of reality stars”, “Celebrity Big Brother”), appears as a party singer in Mallorca – and has already bought some houses. Why does he go through life, unlike many colleagues without major scandals or problems? “I never let it become the center of my life,” said Milski. That was just his job. In retrospect, the 61-year-old said: The decision for the TV career was “the best thing I could do back then”.
