Another lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs: A former participant in his MTV show accuses the music producer of sexual harassment.
Sean “Diddy” Combs (55) is faced with another lawsuit. On February 28, Sara Rivers, a former participant of his MTV show “Making the Band” and band member of Da Band, is said to have sued the music producer, who has been in custody since September 2024, for $ 60 million. That reports.
In her 148 -page indictment, Rivers is said to have sexually harassed Combs, committed assault and let her work under “inhuman” conditions. In addition to the music producer, more than two dozen more accused are listed in the documents, including Universal Music, MTV, Bad Boy Records and Combs’ mother Janice.
This accuses Sara Rivers Sean Combs
Specifically, Rivers accuses Combs of attacking them in a hallway. She claims that he had approached her and pressed her back against a corner. He came close to her “to kiss her and ask her deeply, sensual voice how she is doing, whether she is doing well and whether she needs anything at all,” quotes “People”. Combs then supposedly “put on the collar of her jacket with his left hand and drove his left hand over her breasts while repeating the sentence when she needed something, she should let him know”.
In her lawsuit, Rivers also accuses the music producer of “expressing physical threats to group members” and claims that he had “threatened to eat and kill someone’s face”.
She also claims that Combs has shown an “aggressive and abusive behavior”, which allegedly enabled an “inhumane” work environment by checking her eating and bedtime and mocking it because of her bulimia. She also states that she had to do “unpaid physical work”. According to Rivers, she and her bandmates received only a “flat rate of $ 5,000 per show and person” between 2002 and 2004 after the filming of “Making the Band”.
DIDDYS MTV Realiltyshow “Making the Band” ran from 2000 to 2009 and was about various bands and their career. The band da Band, whose member was Sara Rivers, was the subject of the show for three seasons from 2002 to 2004. During this time, Rivers was also “pushed” to sign a contract.
Speaker defends himself against “false claims”
In a statement towards “People”, a spokesman for Combs said that it was “another example of false claims”. “No matter how many complaints are submitted, nothing will change that Mr. Combs has never sexually attacked someone – neither man nor a woman, neither adults nor children,” the explanation says.
He accuses the applicant to have only submitted the lawsuit because on March 1st a deadline for a New York law on gender -specific violence. It is “clear that opportunists hurry to submit unfounded complaints at the last minute”.
According to “People”, 14 new complaints against Combs were submitted on February 28, including five men and nine women.
Process against Diddy is scheduled to begin in May
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been faced with several charges for sexual abuse, rape and physical violence since November 2023. After his ex-partner Cassie Ventura had publicly accused him, further complaints followed, including allegations from the 1990s and recent cases. In September 2024 he was arrested in New York for serious crimes such as extortion and sexual exploitation and has been in custody in Brookly since then. His process in May 2025 is scheduled. Since then, additional complaints have been submitted to him, including a male escort and now by Sara Rivers. Diddy’s lawyer resigned in February 2025 and his deposits were rejected several times.
