In summer, Patrice Aminati was able to report that she was finally free of metastases. Now the doctors have discovered a new metastasis.
ProSieben moderator Daniel Aminati (51) and his wife Patrice Aminati had hoped for a better year shortly before New Year’s Eve. Now the two report that a new metastasis was discovered in the Patrice with cancer. In the TV magazine “Gala” at RTL, the couple tells how she is doing.
Patrice Aminati: “I’m still in the middle of it”
“It is an up and down,” says Patrice Aminati, published excerpt from the conversation. “As a cancer, you are only healed after two years. In my stage, because it had already developed so many metastases, only after five years. I got used to life with cancer therapies and it was also clear that this was also true.” You can currently “live well with it. But, yes: I’m still in the middle of it.”
You get medication “with which I can cope with everyday life well”. The best time is still coming, says Aminati. When asked that a metastasis had been discovered again, she explains: “Yes, now the doctors have become very careful, of course, control very quickly, and let them know very quickly.” In the coming week she will be irradiated at the affected area. It could happen that hair has fallen out, but Aminati had “become absolutely vain” in this regard. She wanted to do everything “without complaint”, what she keeps life and what the shared family maintains. The Aminatis have a little daughter.
The Aminatis hoped for “New Happiness” in 2025
“It doesn’t work without therapies. I still hope to heal,” said Patrice Aminati. “With all gratitude that Patrices are good blood values and MRI results and we have every reason to be happy, we are very happy that this year is finally over,” reported her husband Daniel. “New year, new luck, as the saying goes,” he said after the “most strenuous months” of his life, which was also “exhausting for him.
In April 2023 the couple made the diagnosis public: black skin cancer. Metastases had already formed. In August 2024, the two were finally able to report that Patrice was free of metastases. “The therapy continues to get the actual status” ,. “The side effects are a mountain and valley trip. Tumor-free does not mean therapy-free.” Studies were still changing with visits to the doctor and hospitalization, but she “enjoy, celebrate hours and days when I have no pain, I do not listen to fear, don’t feel anything, do not have to counteract with medication”.
