Macaulay Culkin: Creative engagement with strange gifts

Macaulay Culkin (44) and Brenda Song (36) have been engaged for over three years, but the two former children’s stars keep their private life out of the public. In a new interview with Brenda Songs, however, has now given a few insights into the relationship between the two. Including which creative action your fiance made her the application.

According to this, the engagement took place on Christmas 2021 and started with quite a few, thoughtful gifts: “He gave me a bunch of really strange gifts, about 21 individually packaged garden gnomes, which I thought was a joke because we had so many in our garden,” recalls song. “Another gift was a box with Amazon things that I wanted to give back to him. I said: ‘I don’t understand this joke.'”

The last gift was a letter that the son Dakota had written to her: “Papa makes such bad gifts, here is something better for mom”. Then Culkin left her knee in front of her and would have made an application to her. “He said, ‘I wanted to screw down your expectations’. What he had done too. But it was very cute and very typical for us. We are big children.”

In the conversation, the actress raves about her fiance: “He is good at cheering me up on a bad day”. For example, he gives her her favorite sweetness, flowers or take care of the children so that she can sleep in. Even when arguing, the two seem to tick similarly: “What should that bring? I can’t better convey my point of view by screaming, and he feels the same way,” says Song. Instead, the couple moves their discussions to the time when the children are in bed, “is our time together and we talk.”

The love of the acting has started as an affair, Song also reveals. “When we got to know each other, none of us were looking for a relationship,” she remembers getting to know each other in 2019 on the set of “Changeland”. “We had a lot of free time in which we just stopped and I thought: ‘Will he be my best friend on the set? Fantastic!’ And then I took a crush on him and thought: ‘Will he be my first affair?’ “On the return flight, she would have seen each other with the words” We will never see each other again! ” adopted by Culkin. “But this affair became eight years and two children together.”
