Stripper: This is how the Oscar Awards 2025

The 97th Oscar Awards took place in Los Angeles on the night of March 3. However, the course of the evening should not bring a real scandal. None of the pictures created will be prominently found in highlights clips for the long history of the Academy Awards in five or ten years. And politics also seemed terrifyingly little in view of the current world situation.

For this, this Oscar ceremony will probably be remembered primarily for its length. Moderator Conan O’Brien (61), who led the Academy Awards for the first time, gave the tone at the beginning of the show when he broke out and sang into a self -ironic music number and sang how he would not waste time. But that should turn out to be a harbinger for the entire evening.

Because after an hour just four Oscar trophies had gone to the man or woman. In the course of the evening, that was unmistakable, the direction of the live show attracted the pace in response. Moderator O’Brien could hardly be seen. Some of his previously rehearsed gags or pre -produced one -players should not have made it into the charisma.

However, the former host of the “Tonight Show” still landed a political goal – and possibly the best gag of the evening. Because in the plot of “Anora”, the great winner of the evening, it is known to be a mighty Russian gangster and a sex worker played by Oscar winner Mikey Madison (25), who has the courage to oppose him.

“‘Anora’ has a good night,” joked O’Brien. “I guess the Americans are thrilled that someone finally asserts themselves against a powerful Russian.” The joke triggered thundering applause from the audience.

The rest of the evening, on the other hand, brought remarkably few political leaders. For example, the Oscar winners Zoe Saldaña (46) and Adrien Brody (51) conjure up the importance of immigrant experience in different ways. “I am a proud child of immigrant parents,” said Saldaña in her acceptance speech for the secondary actress Oscar.

Laudator Daryl Hannah (64) began her explanations with a warm “Slava Ukraine”, ie in German: “Fame of Ukraine”.

Politically, there were almost the statements of solidarity with sex workers who built the Oscar winners Madison and “Anora” maker Sean Baker (54) into their acceptance speeches.

The firefighters of Los Angeles, who had fought devastating fires in Hollywood’s hometown Los Angeles at the beginning of the year, was also commemorated in the course of the Oscar ceremony. Some of them came onto the stage and let jokes. A heart -warming moment.

The director David Lynch (1946-2025), who was also recently deceased, came a little too short in view of this honor, who was only honored in the traditional “in Memoriam” clip. That was not easy to see from the Oscar ceremony.

Whenever the producers of the 2025 Awards wanted to dare new things, it didn’t work very well.
