Musician Neil Young wants to open his upcoming tour in Ukraine – with a “free concert for everyone”.
The folk rock star Neil Young plans a concert in Ukraine. The European part of its world tour is opened there with a “free concert for everyone”, the Canadian musician (79) said on his website. One is currently in discussions on planning.
There were no details of the appointment at first. The start of the tour with his band The Chrome Hearts was planned with a concert on June 18 in the Swedish Rättvik. In Germany, Young stops for concerts in Berlin, Mönchengladbach and Stuttgart.
According to the music magazine “Rolling Stone”, it would be the first concert for the “Godfather of Grunge” in Ukraine. Young, who is one of the most successful musicians in his generation, has become strong for the country since the Russian invasion. He is also a sharp critic of Donald Trump.
