Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell: The Oscars were their date backdrop

Hollywood’s dream couple Goldie Hawn (79) and Kurt Russell (73) used the 97th Oscar Awards on Sunday evening as a backdrop for a stylish date. On the red carpet of the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, the two posed together in an elegant evening robe and visibly happy for the photographers.

Goldie, who was recognized in 1970 for “the cactus blossom” with an Oscar as the best supporting actress, remained true to her glamorous style and wore a floor -length, gold -shimmering dress with a suitable necklace and a scarf over her shoulders. Russell appeared in a classic tuxedo, with fly and glasses with tinted glasses.

Russell and Hawn have been together for over 40 years. Hawn had only spoken about the secret of her love in September last year. “You have to have good sex,” she said. “Because sex is something that connects you and creates more belonging. People who have healthy sexual relationships usually stay together for much longer. But that is not only due to the act, but also because of the warmth and intimacy that it creates.”

The actress also pointed out that there are ups and downs in every relationship. “You often don’t think in the same way,” she continued. “And you have to accept that, but you also have to weigh up: do we have fun, is that something we want to do? Are we laughing together? Do we share certain things?” At the same time, as a couple, you don’t have to share everything, says Hawn.

Apparently not rings either: Despite their happy relationship, Hawn and Russell never stepped off the altar. Instead, they have been living in Wilder marriage since 1983, who has sprung together the son Wyatt Russell (38). Both experience had previously had failed marriages. Hawn was previously married to actor Gus Trikonis (87), as well as the musician Bill Hudson (75). With the latter she has two children together, the actors Oliver Hudson (48) and Kate Hudson (45). Russell was married to his colleague Season Hubley (73), with whom he has another son.
