National goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen and his wife Daniela have announced their marriage.
In the future, they will no longer be a marriage team, but for the children it will still be on the field of life together. The German football professional and national goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen (32) and his wife Daniela made it public that the couple separated.
Marc-André Ter Stegen: Separation not easy, but “the best step”
“After careful consideration, Dani and I decided to go separate ways,” says a statement by the two, which was published on Instagram in English. As one could imagine, it was “no simple decision”, explain Marc-André and Daniela Ter Stegen.
However, both are “believed that it is the best step for us”. The goal of Daniela and Marc-André Ter Stegen is now to “do the best for our children and ensure that they continue to have a loving and stable environment”. The two therefore want to work together as parents and “treat each other with respect and appreciation” – as has always been the case.
Football goalkeeper Ter Stegen had at the end of 2019 that the couple got their son Ben (5). In February of last year, they proudly announced that a second son, who is called Tom (1), was born just before. The two had married in 2017 and were according to media reports for several years.
