Prince William paid a visit to a visit to mental health charity. He proved great interest and solid computer skills.
Just one day after visiting the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, Prince William (42) visited a charity for mental health in the White City in London. The British heir to the throne chose a casual outfit for his flying visit to the organization called Mental Health Innovations (MHI): about a blue shirt in which he had left several buttons open, he wore a simple jacket that suited his dark pants.
William’s mood was even more open than his shirt: Pictures of the visit show the son of King Charles (76) in a lively exchange with the employees of the facility, which was launched in 2017 in the course of the Royal Foundation by him and his wife Princess Kate (43).
The aim of mental health innovations is to offer people with psychological problems rapid and uncomplicated support. For this purpose, a 24-hour service called Shout was launched in 2019, in which help those seeking help can come into contact with volunteers.
The reason for Prince William’s visit is the merger of mental health innovations with another charity that bears the name The Mix. The Mix also offers a free digital service that is specifically geared towards people under 25 years and should help you with urgent questions in important matters. At one point in his stay it was seen how the visibly interested William could be explained in a laptop how the volunteers are trained by AI-sensitive exercise entertainment for dealing with real people.
Help for the helpers
The day before, Prince William had visited the Royal Berkshire Hospital – the birth clinic of Princess Kate. In March 2020, exactly five years ago, the first patient suffering from Covid-19 died in the United Kingdom.
William, who had also traveled here without his wife, looked at the positive effects of NHS Charities Together. Among other things, the merger of charity organizations has set itself the goal of helping those that help others: the employees of clinics and volunteers who were at the forefront of the corona pandemic from 2020.
