The *nsync member JC Chasez (48) lost his father. , Ray “Roy” Edward Chasez died in Florida last month at the age of 73. According to the news portal, he succumbed to cancer against which he had fought for the fifth time in his life.

According to the report, a funeral service for the deceased took place last Saturday. Members of the Boyband *NSYNC are said to have participated in the event in Orlando in order to help their colleagues in their difficult time. Roy Chasez was very closely involved in the band during the beginnings of *Nsync, since his son and other singers Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick were still very young at the time of the founding in 1995.
