Death has been accompanied by Armin Rohde for a long time
The topic of death has been accompanying him since the age of twelve, says Rohde im. At that time his favorite succk died. Later he lost friends and family members. “Nowhere else can you better become aware of your own transience than in the cemetery,” says the drama star. Rohde has “absolutely no desire to die”, but he was not afraid of it. “I can hardly believe that I’m 70 now. Here and today I still have too much in mind.” He wanted to “use every second” – especially with beloved people – and has to struggle with it that a day only has 24 hours.
“Before death in general, I am not bang,” repeats Rohde. He explains: “I consciously catch up with him in the cemetery, which makes it an acceptable size.
