The Netflix streaming platform will premiere a new series on Friday, April 11, “The gardener” . A Spanish romantic thriller of six episodes that between flowers and plants is blood and a murderer.
This story is Created by the screenwriter and writer, Miguel Sáez Carral. He was also creator of the series “Not one more”, released in 2024. In addition, it is produced by DLO productions, which has already carried out various projects for Spanish television and even nominated for international awards.

What is “the gardener”
This series tells Elmer’s story, a man who, after an accident, lost the ability to experience emotions. His mother, La China Jurado, took advantage of this situation to make him a hitman, using a nursery as a facade for a clandestine business of murder on commission.
Elmer, for whom killing became a simple task due to his lack of feelings, faces an unexpected challenge when he falls in love with Violeta, a nursery teacher he had to eliminate. This love puts at risk the facade of gardeners who kept him and his mother, who now tries to end Violeta’s life to protect his business.
