The native of Rosenheim had therefore sought something down -to -earth. She wanted someone to get up in the morning and be happy with what he had. Who also appreciates the “little things”: “one who does not always want to get higher, faster and further – and for whom the career is not the most important thing in life. Please no man with his head in the clouds instead of in real life.”

Sophia Thiel met the officials in September last year. At first he did not know who she was until she stood in front of him and, according to her statement, he was “somewhat overwhelmed”. But then it sparked. “Because we were able to look in the eye for hours and – in a very own way – were very intensive after a very short time. I have never experienced that with a man.”

Thiel had already introduced her friend to her parents. Her new partner had already moved in with her in February and also about young people: “For him, too, it is important for him to have their own family. So: He is ready – and now it depends on when I’m ready.”

In February, Thiel said that she owes her new love to her friends, so to speak. “All my friends found someone about Tinder. That was the drop that caused the barrel to overflow,” she said.
