Drummer Zak Starkey left The WHO. In a statement it says that this was a “common decision” of the band.

Ringo Starrs (84) Son Zak Starkey (59) has been the drummer of The WHO since 1996. Now it should be over. Starkey is no longer in the band. The founding members Roger Daltrey (81) and Pete Townshend (79) are said to have made the decision. In a spokesman’s statement, it says that the band had made a “joint decision” to “separate himself from Zak after this round of shows in the Royal Albert Hall”. They have “nothing but admiration” for the drummer and “wish him the very best for his future”.

Find out after criticism of performance?

according to the shows in March in honor of Daltreys Teenage Cancer Trust charity organization, there were no discrepancies in the band. According to this, the band members are said to have criticized Starkeys performance on drums. According to sources, there were “a few problems with the drum game” and the standard was not as high “as everyone wanted”. As the insiders further say, Zak Starkey is said to have left the “bitter” decision of the separation annoyed.

Like “Metro” from one of the concerts in the Royal Albert Hall, the discrepancy in the band is said to have already shown itself on stage. Roger Daltrey should have briefly demolished and explained at the last song of the evening, “The Song Is Over”, the concert: “To sing this song, I have to hear the key, and I can’t. All that I have is a drum that makes the ‘Bumm, Bumm, Bumm’. I can’t sing.” On the second attempt with quieter drums, the band was able to finish the song.

The British rock band The WHO has been around since 1964. In the course of time there were always new occupations. One of the greatest successes in the group is the first album “My Generation”.
