The British prince Andrew has almost disappeared from the public after several scandals. On Easter Sunday, he shows himself with his brother, the king, at Windsor Castle.

After months, Prince Andrew, which was released from his royal tasks, has again been publicly shown with the royal family. The 65-year-old took on Sunday together with his brother, King Charles III. (76), and Queen Camilla (77) in the traditional Easter service at Windsor Castle.

According to the PA news agency, it was the first time since Easter 2024 that Andrew could be seen at an official event of the royal family. He came to the service with his ex-wife Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson.

At the end of last year, Andrew got into the headlines because of a confidante who was suspected of working for the Communist Party in China. Andrew’s participation in the traditional Christmas party of the Royals in the royal country seat of Sandringham was then canceled.

The Duke of York had been released from his tasks for the royal family because of its complications in the abuse scandal around the US multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019. The prince, who also had to give up his military honorary titles, denies any misconduct.
