MUBI has acquired the rights of Twin Peaksthe iconic 1990 series of David Lynch and Mark Frostas well as its 2017 sequel Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Seriesand there are plans for both debuting in the service on June 13.

The news comes in the middle of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Twin Peaks. Of course, Lynch’s work is also currently being re -asserted, just three months after the death of the iconic surreal filmmaker.
