With the hand and footprint ceremony in Hollywood, Michelle Pfeiffer received one of the most prestigious honors in the film metropolis.
Michelle Pfeiffer (66) celebrated an important milestone of her impressive career. The Hollywood icon was honored on April 25 with the traditional hand and footprint ceremony in front of the TCM Chinese Theater- one of the most prestigious awards that Hollywood has to be awarded.
The actress, who played with films such as “Scarface”, “The Fabulous Baker Boys” and “Batman Returns” into the hearts of the audience, pressed her hands and feet in fresh cement – and thus entered the footsteps of legends such as Humphrey Bogart and Marilyn Monroe.
“A dream will come true”
Pfeiffer was overwhelmed by the honor and then shared her feelings on social media with her fans. “A total dream that becomes true. I thank @tcmfilfilffest & @chinesetheatres and my incredible team in all these years for the fact that this honor came about”.
On this special occasion, the Hollywood icon appeared in an elegant black suit by The Row, which it combined with an ivory -colored silk blouse and high heels – also from The Row. She was wearing her blond hair openly. At her side was her husband David E. Kelley, producer of the successful series “Big Little Lies”, who appeared in a suit without a tie.
The US actress was also accompanied by her colleagues and friends Elle and Dakota Fanning, with whom she played in “I am Sam”.
Nervousness before the ceremony
Before the ceremony, Pfeiffer shared on her way to the event. “On the way to my @tcmfilmfilffilffest hand & foot ceremony. Honored (and a bit nervous!), One of the longest and most worshiped traditions in Hollywood story,” she confessed to her followers.
New projects on the horizon
Despite her long and successful career, Michelle Pfeiffer doesn’t think of quitting. The actress is currently shooting the family-drama series “Madison” directed by “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan. The show is scheduled to celebrate its premiere in 2025 and is being built in Montana, New York and Texas.
With their hand and footprint ceremony, Pfeiffer joins the list of the largest Hollywood legends. The Chinese Theater, one of the most famous cinemas in the world, attracts millions of visitors every year, who admire the impressions of their favorite stars in cement.
