On Tuesday, May 6 at 8, Colón Theaterin collaboration with Desar will carry out a solidarity concert destined to support the BAHÍA BLANCA SCHOOL ORCHESTRA – engineer Whiteaffected by recent floods. The collection of the evening will be intended for the acquisition of instruments that were lost during the storm, in order to guarantee the continuity of pedagogical and musical work in the community.
The event will have the participation of the Colón Theater Academic Orchestraunder the direction of the teacher Juan Miceli. As a soloist, the outstanding violinist will be presented Xavier Inchaustiand the renowned Bahian artist will be present Agustín “Rada” Aristaránwho will join this initiative from its commitment to the social cause.

Tickets are already available and can be acquired online through www.teatrocolon.org.aras well as face -to -face in the ticket office of the Teatro Colón (Tucumán 1171), from Monday to Saturday from 9 to 20 and Sundays from 9 to 17.
The school orchestra was founded in 2008 at the port of engineer White, promoted by teachers, students and families of the community. Since its inception, it has been a pedagogical and territorial space that promotes inclusion, citizenship and roots through musical practice, strengthening girls, boys and adolescents in their integral development. The recovery of its instruments is fundamental, since it represents much more than the restitution of objects: it is the Restoration of an essential tool for expression, learning and social encounter.
