This new space celebrates the most genuine Vietnamese flavors in a modern and accessible proposal, under the motto “Vietnamse Sandwich Bar”.
The culinary scene of Buenos Aires is enriched with the recent opening of Bánh Me Companya place that combines the essence of Vietnamese street food with an experience adapted to the urban rhythm of Recoleta. The story of Bánh Me Company begins in the streets of Paris, where Mclurg grew surrounded by a rich cultural and culinary diversity. In their neighborhood, the Asian flavors were part of their daily life, sowing in it a passion for Vietnam’s techniques and recipes. After years of learning and research, and backed by an international trajectory that combines creativity and rigor, Matías decided to take this passion to a space that reflects Vietnamese food in its essence.

Located in Paraguay 2033, steps from the Faculty of Medicine, Bánh Me Company is presented as a cozy corner, with a vintage aesthetic that highlights warm tones and carefully selected details. The walls decorated with a collage of Asian images and the white tiles that cover the floor evoke an intimate atmosphere. The logo, a monkey with a Vietnamese car, summarizes the identity of the site: a mixture of tradition and modernity.
The proposal
The Bánh Mi Company menu is designed for both knowledgeable of this type of kitchen and for those looking for a new culinary. In the heart of your offer are the iconic areh me sandwiches, prepared with handmade baguettes, made by themselves, fresh and crispy. They come out of meat, chicken, lacquered pork, tofu or chicken curry, with cucumber, carrot pickle and turnip, coriander, mint and the classic Maggi sauce.

The Spring Rolls, another menu star, offer alternatives that range from marinated prawns to Tofu, wrapped in the typical and fine rice paper with fresh ingredients such as noodles, lettuce, basil and mint. These are served with two sauces that complement their flavor: one creamy peanuts and another more typical of Vietnam, Nuoc Mam Cham, made with fish and apple vinegar.
The experience is completed with a selection of drinks that includes cold Vietnamese coffees (made of condensed or coconut milk), ice cream, kombuchas, artisanal beers, waters and soda. Each item is designed to provide an informal and close experience, either to enjoy in the premises or to carry.
With an extended schedule from Monday to Saturday, from 11.30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Bánh Me Company is a versatile alternative for those looking for lunch, dinner or simply having coffee or tea in the way. In addition, their delivery and Take Away service facilitates access to these flavors for those who prefer to stay at home or office.
This recent opening promises to become a reference point for lovers of Asian cuisine and for those who wish to discover something different in Buenos Aires.
