They just sat next to veterans in the Royal Box in front of the Buckingham Palace, now they are already on the balcony: the Royal Family around King Charles III. From there, the Royals observed a so-called Fleypast of the Red Arrows, the art flight team of the British Air Force Royal Air Force (RAF), as part of the celebrations around the 80th anniversary of the “Victory in Europe” -day, for short VE Day.
In the middle of the balcony, the monarch and his wife – they were in a shining sapphire blue coat dress, he in a uniform of the navy, which is similar to his grandfather King Georg VI. (1895-1952) on May 8, 1945 carried on the same balcony. On her left, Prince William (42) stood in RAF uniform with his wife Princess Kate (43) in Burgunderrot and the children, Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (10) and Prince Louis (7).

Beared her mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), when she was on the balcony on May 8, 1945, while the then Prime Minister Winston Churchill (1874-1965) next to her father King George VI. announced the end of the Second World War in Europe. The long -time monarch, then still a princess, served as a driver of the women’s department of the British army during the Second World War.
