Kim Kardashian at Met Gala: Safetyman stumbles over her dress

For Kim Kardashian, this year’s Met Gala has started with a small moment of fright. Before she entered the blue carpet, a security guard got stuck on the train of her outfit. The incident can be seen in a video that was shared on Tikkok.

The security employee accidentally stumbled across the hem of Kardashians Rock in front of the star’s hotel. The clip shows how the 44-year-old looks at the security guard as she holds her hand to support him when he stumbles. Kardashian’s broad hat, which belonged to her Met Gala outfit, covered part of her face, but it still looked calm. The outfit also survived the little slip of the bodyguard without damage.

Later in the evening Kim Kardashian easily stepped in the black leather two -part over the blue carpet of the fashion event in New York City. The outfit consisted of a back-free corset top with crocodile print and a tightly cut skirt in the same style.

This year’s topic of the Met Gala was “superfine: Tailoring Black Style”, with the dress code “Tailored for You”. Kardashian’s sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, also took part in the event.

Kim Kardashian had already presented risky outfits at the Met Gala several times. In 2023 she wore a Haute-Couture dress from Schiaparelli, which was occupied with several thousand pearls. After visiting the event, US media reports are said to have solved a few pearl threads at the bottom of the dress.

She also caused a sensation in 2022 when she slipped into a dress by Marilyn Monroe from 1962. She took several kilos to fit into the tight outfit, as she later revealed.
