Cara Delevingne (32) knows how to leave a lasting impression. At the world premiere of David Attenborough (98) new documentary “Ocean” in London, the model relied on maximum transparency – in the form of a sensational network dress that left hardly any room for imagination.
Numerous celebrities gathered on Tuesday evening in the Royal Festival Hall in London to celebrate the latest film by the legendary natural filmmaker. While many stars rely on classic elegance, Delevingne opted for a much more bold look.
Delevingne shows deep
She appeared in a silvery shiny, full-transparent network dress, under which she only wore a black string tanga. In view of the section, she completely dispensed with a bra. In addition, the 32-year-old combined a black oversize blazer, black plateau-pepepeptoes and a statement chain in the form of a crow with tense wings.
Delevingne did not come to the event alone: she was accompanied by her pregnant sister Poppy Delevingne (39) and her good friend Georgia May Jagger (33), both in black. The three women also posed hand in hand for the photographers.
In addition to the Delevingne sisters, numerous other stars were present at the event, including Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster with her son Alastair Wallace Stewart, singer James Blunt with his wife Sofia and Spice-Girl Geri Halliwell-Horner. The most special guest, however, was King Charles (76) personally: the British monarch, who has long committed to environmental protection, posed in black tuxedo with fly on the blue carpet.
Film about the destruction of the world’s oceans
“Ocean” comes to Sir David Attenborough’s 99th birthday on Thursday in cinemas before he will be seen on National Geographic, Disney+ and Hulu. The film deals with the alarming state of the world’s oceans. “After almost 100 years on this planet, I now know that the most important place on Earth is not on land, but at the sea,” said Attenborough at the event. His producer Toby Nowlan added that the documentary transported “the most important message he has ever told”.
